I am so picky and it's in a chevron gas station ! It's good it's fresh and I like supporting the family. Their war won ton soup is excellent and they are know for their Mongolian beef or chicken dish.

What a delicious BARGAIN!!! I ordered Mongolian beef, veggie chow mein, chicken and vegetables, and two egg custards for dessert. They were all very delicious and SO plentiful. My husband and I ate everything but it took us theee days!!! Wonderful kind service too. I'll DEFINITELY be back!

Was recommended by a friend. I liked it so much I came back twice in a week. The first time I got beef chow fun. The lady really insisted I add the hot sauce which I have never done before. It was surprisingly good! It's a small mom and pop place attached to a gas station. They're efficient. Food comes out fairly quickly. You can dine in. They still pack your food in togo containers. They really fill the containers. I've gotten 2 meals out of each meal. The second time I went I got the roasted duck lunch special. Their lunch special is all day. Not sure what the difference it yet. I think I got a little more than a quarter of a duck or maybe even half a duck. Pretty legit roast duck!

4.5 STARS Date: Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024 Time: around 8pm Party of: 3 Meal: Dinner Takeaway Food Ready: in about 10-15 mins *Pot Stickers: 4 ($6.95) *Wonton Soup ($9.45) *BBQ Duck: half ($18.45) *Salt & Pepper Prawns: change Pork ($15.95) *Mongolian Beef ($13.50) *Dry Sauteed String Bean ($11.95) Hands down, the best thing here was the duck. And the funny thing is, I wasn't even going to order it. The lady helping the hubby and I out recommended it. I'm always susceptible to suggestion, so of course I said yes. The duck was plump and tasty. The string beans were good as well. A little saucier than I expected, but a nice subtle heat. The mongolian beef was how do I say, more like mongolian onions? There wasn't much beef in the dish. The soup was good. And luckily the wontons didn't bloom in the broth during transport. I originally wanted salt and pepper pork spareribs, but they don't have spareribs, so they suggested just pork. I wasn't a huge fan of this dish. Felt like more batter than pork. The potstickers looked good. I didn't try any of them, but the hubs seemed to enjoy it. We typically stop in Davis to get gas on the way back to the Bay Area from Tahoe. If you're looking for Chinese food and want some roast duck, I highly recommend this spot. REVIEW #3554

This Place is the go to! Been going here since I worked at Jiffylube next door, and The love has never gone away! Glad it's still around.

I really miss these flavors, there is a large absence of it in the mainstream Davis food scene. They also serve dim sum at non-dim-sum time so you can enjoy everything you want out of Chinese food.

Beat Chinese I have had in a very long time!! I ordered the BBQ Pork with Snow Peas, but they ran out of snow peas and substituted for green beans! I think this was even better! Perfect amount of sauce and was very fresh. Can't wait to come back!

Great stop for a quick bite of yummy Chinese food! Portions are big and the food is tasty! You can order each entree with rice ("lunch special" that is available all day) or ala carte. Since we ordered fried rice, we opted for ala carte. - General chicken: loved how crispy this was, sauce was tasty but so sticky - Fish with black bean sauce: tender fish, savory sauce, lots of veggies - Combination fried rice (my favorite!): very tasty with lots of chicken, shrimp, diced pork, and veggies Service is quick and they are currently remodeling, so there aren't too many tables to sit at.

Good quick service Chinese food. This place is more of a To Go establishment. Attached to a gas station and not much seating available. Inside is dated, definitely not where you go for ambiance. But the food is decent. Had the Salt and Pepper shrimp. The flavor is as good. I'm used to having this dish with the shell and head on. They serve it peeled without the head attached. You have to order rice in the side. Friendly counter employee.
